This is the idea
Each issue we will have a theme, and each issue we will invite the young and struggling and talented to submit work on that theme. Whatever you think is appropriate and however you best express yourself, be it poetry, comic strip, or magnadoodle. We'll accept anything we like and reject anything we don't. We hope to attract people with a variety of ideas and interests, who share our sensibilities, and who have something to say.

Why we're doing this
We are all quasi-adults, recently graduated from college, and we are not used to NOT having a creative project to work on: a project with boundaries and deadlines and an audience. That's the trade-off for gaining the freedom of the real world... you can lose your forum to create. It's surprisingly easy to "take it easy" for a little while after graduation and find yourself still taking it easy a year and a half later: out of shape creatively, no new ideas, no drive. So boredom, restlessness, fear, whatever the reason, we needed to be heard.

We realized there are plenty of people out there just as young and struggling as we are, who are also looking for an audience. We hope to help those people.

So send us some work already.
