I liked this movie a lot, but I didn't love it. Though it's way better than most other movies, so why do we have to be so demanding? But the idea of a man's stories making him immortal sounds kind of self-servingly filmmakerish, doesn't it?

This film felt the least like a Tim Burton film of all the Tim Burton films I've seen. Ewan McGregor and Albert Finney are so easy to like in this movie; the other scenes feel like a holding pattern until one of them is on screen again.
