I know I shouldn't read movie reviews (unless they're wicked brief) before I go, because I expected this movie to be much darker than it was. But it is worth seeing, and it's interesting in that it makes you conflicted about your feelings for the characters, and I don't know if a lot of cartoons do that.

I liked this. But I still don't see what the point was, other than to show some wacky events and random connections. The fact that it's French and animated can be used to explain this, but at the same time both of those elements had me expecting a more cohesive statement about something. Maybe I'm just too demanding of my cartoons.
